A ruffly top that doesn't fit

I made this pattern, Butterick 4886 our of some flowered cotton lawn that I bought in Portland a year or two ago. I am an idiot and need to remember that a pattern for a 34 bust will not fit if I do not have the magical benefit of Victoria's secret.
In conclusion, I declined to model this and put it on Dolly instead.
I made the buttonholes, but didn't sew on any buttons when it became blatantly obvious that it was huge.
Maybe add some buttons and sell it on Etsy? In my imaginary shop that I have not yet finished creating? Some horrible Molly in Ohio stole "Molly Sews" as a name, so now I am at a loss. Any ideas? I have a lot of patterns I should sell and pass on to people who might enjoy them.

    1. Get a boob job? It's fully lined and topstitched, so I should just sell it.

  3. That is the cutest top! It's a shame you can't wear it. I bet you'd flog it off so quickly - when you get your shop!

  4. The top is adorable! We've all been there: spending hours on a garment that we're really excited to finish only to have it not fit and re-fitting is a nightmare...

  5. I hate it when online people steal my name. EXCUSE YOU, THAT WAS MINE FIRST. Assholes! I have no idea why I'm so protective of that extra L haha.

  6. My go-to username is a combo of my and my husband's last names, so it really chaps my ass when it's taken. No one else should have it!

I bet you're better than that evil Molly in Ohio.

  9. I actually don't know how that shirt would work if you have a larger bust. I mean, where would the boobs go?! Maybe it's because I have the opposite problem and I'm constantly watching for tops with lack of boob space, but this top seems really problematic. Unless the whole point is for them to be mostly hanging out...

On the other hand, it's super cute! I'm sorry you can't wear it. The ruffles are adorkable and I like the back! But again, what about the bra straps? lol
