In progress...Butterick 6965

This is what I'm currently working on:
The blue one with the bow.

Here is my fabric, a poly chiffon like thing. It has a cool abstract print.
Here is my completed, fully lined, black, wool skirt. It turned out very nice. I will post a picture of the zipper I did- I am so proud of myself!!
This will be my next project. The blouse on the right, in this cute pattern to match my new black skirt. It will be super cute!!!
I can already tell this school year is going to be a million times better than last year! I think I will be able to teach, and have a LIFE at the same time!!! Gasp!! Hooray! Cheers to future sewing!

  1. I love your black skirt, it's beautiful! The fabric for the blouses is very nice. I can't wait to see them finished and on you with your skirt. I am so happy for you that this year you won't teach all day and almost every night do lesson plans and grade papers....yea, you get to have a life too!
